In each of its 40th, 50th, and 60th Anniversary issues Communication Arts has cited our work as among the most influential in American design for the decades 1990-2000, 2000-2010, and 2010-2020.


Lana Rigsby, Rigsby Hull’s Founding Partner & Creative Director, is a Fellow of AIGA / The American Institute of Graphic Arts. As the highest honor an AIGA chapter can bestow upon one of its members, the AIGA Fellow Award recognizes designers who have made a significant contribution to raising standards of excellence, practice, and conduct within the local and regional design community.

Lana Rigsby
Founding Partner & Creative Director

Rigsby Hull president and creative director Lana Rigsby has been honored internationally for intelligent design and restrained, elegant expression for more than thirty years. An outspoken thinker and practitioner in the field of communications, Lana has authored publications, chaired conferences, and lectured at universities and institutions throughout the US. She has served as a judge for international design competitions and exhibitions, is an AIGA Fellow and founding member of the AIGA’s Texas Chapter, and has served as National Director for the American Institute of Graphic Arts.

Thomas Hull
Partner & Design Director

A passion for clear communication and sophisticated typography are hallmarks of Thomas Hull's work. Thomas is active in the design community and teaches and lectures for organizations and universities around the country. He is currently a Professor of Graphic Design teaching graduate and undergraduate classes at Savannah College of Art and Design and is a former adjunct faculty for Brigham Young University—Idaho. He has served as a board member of AIGA, Houston and Executive Vice Chairman of The Printing Museum.
